David Hogan hoganreviews.co.uk A fun follow up to the original game that has some good fight scenes but the animation and CG just aren't up to much in 2021. It's unapproachable to non-fans, for the record! Rated: 3/5 Nov 19, 2021 Full Review Ana Diaz Polygon if you have played both the original and the Remake, and you're looking for something to hold you over until Intergrade comes out, it is easily the perfect way to scratch, and further provoke, that Final Fantasy itch. May 11, 2021 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis Great animation, but a narrative disappointment. Rated: 6/10 Jun 7, 2009 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVD Clinic Once the characters start spewing out reams of dialogue about "geostigma," "sephiroth," and "genova," my eyeballs involuntarily start to glaze over. Rated: 3/5 Mar 7, 2007 Full Review Jeffrey Chen Window to the Movies [The] battle scenes, during which all normal physics go straight out the window, are exhilarating in a disorienting thrill-ride way. Rated: 7/10 Apr 25, 2006 Full Review David Cornelius eFilmCritic.com This is third-rate sci-fi cobbled together with familiar elements of a video game some people like, and that's not nearly enough to work as a film. Rated: 2/5 Apr 24, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews

deathSONIC One of the few video game film adaptations that is really strong. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Harmagedon it was interesting, better than other one but it's still not that good, feeling bad for final fantasy fan Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Kent H This 2005 animated film was ahead of its time and still holds up to this date. You 100% had to experience this on the big screen! If you’ve played the original Final Fantasy 7, you will absolutely love this story that takes place after the game story. But if the viewer doesn’t have much knowledge of FFVII, they might get lost in the complex story telling. Having a bit of knowledge will help going into the film! It’s fantastic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/24 Full Review Sanda R It is a very good movie, although I accept that it is a product for fans since at least you have to have read the light novel On The Way to a Smile and played the game. Although regardless of that I think it's a great movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/28/24 Full Review MonadoDX 2 Una de las mejores películas basadas en videojuegos y es de las más fieles al material original, Final Fantasy VII forever. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review Charles P It was everything that a fan would expect. Worth taking the time to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review Read all reviews
