Also sign up for Robin's news letter for updates on her other projects at robingunn.com Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Erin Krakow of When Calls the Heart fame stars in this Christmas movie where she searches for the identity of her father. Several points during the movie the character is so daft, I found myself yelling at the TV. Typical, oh woe is me damsel in distress meanderings. Despite that and the homages to When Calls the Heart with Miranda and Ian in a horse drawn carriage looking at wooded vistas which makes you feel like she's cheating on our favorite Hope Valley Mountie. The movie pulls all the right heartstrings and all works out well in the end. The only thing that could have made it better would have been for Miranda to also act in The Christmas Carol, I really thought that's where that particular plot line was headed.
