Victoria C A true tale of never giving up on your dreams!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/24/23 Full Review Stefano S This movie has a big problem in developing the characters, way exaggerated. Compared to og Mulan, for example, they don't evolve gradually. They switch attitude in a split second, leaving you the feeling that the writing was rushed. Maybe a little less action and more character building. The whole movie seems a rush to the ending, and not in a nice way... What a shame, it could have been a really nice one. Luca ward as the Italian version voice of the dad gives it something nice to hear. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Kathleen H Georgia is captivating. This is a protagonist that you just want more and more from. The overall story has lots of heart. The father is played well. The animation is smooth and crisp at the same time. The motivations and pauses are all well done. Overall, it's a well written plot structure, it's animated well, and for an independent movie, this could play with the big boys. The mystic, supernatural fire was explained in chemists terms, but did not really mean much to me, and so that was a bit over my head. The villain was easy to identify, at the first scene I had my suspicions just based on character design and color theme. I was disappointed in the character designs for Jin. Ricardo was fine, but Jin well, he was designed pretty racist. And nacrolepsy and such an overused trope, that was a bore. I would watch it again, I would scroll on my phone during Jin's scenes, and the mayor's, but I would watch it again. Also, what was with the police captain's voice work? Why was that the creative direction? It's better than most kids stuff you'll see. Because it's not from a big player it will be skipped over and that's a shame. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/04/22 Full Review Cyrus K Well i will compliment it and say it is a VERY well disguised rip-off. and you wanna know what it is a rip off of, well i will tell you the basic plot and you can guess what it is ripping off. it is about a girl who lives in a time where she wants to do something but can't because she is a girl, and when a crisis happens, the girl disguises herself as a guy and lives out her dream to help. And it doesn't help that is has a main character that is bland as tofu, generic animation, a dull story, and a plot about oppression that has become overdone. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review jonathan a Coming from being a single firefighter father of two daughters right now, a lot of the father daughter dynamic and the desire to completely change my career field like the father in this movie did for the sake of his daughter hit home hard for me. Very cute and entertaining movie over-all! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A good family movie! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
