Mark Jackson Epoch Times German director Uwe Boll has the distinction of being one of the world's worst filmmakers yet nevertheless manages to make movies that are oddly watchable. Rated: 1.5/5 Sep 16, 2024 Full Review Maxance Vincent InSession Film The rest of the movie isn't particularly good, and many of its moving plot threads don't go anywhere. In fact, this entire 89-minute picture can be summed up as patient worldbuilding... Rated: C- Sep 4, 2024 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee Plays like it was made by aliens studying the concept of the buddy-cop movie. Rated: D Sep 3, 2024 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies Even with something as simple as a cop drama ... writer/director Uwe Boll doesn't seem to comprehend the basics of storytelling. Rated: 0.5/4 Aug 30, 2024 Full Review Robert Kojder Flickering Myth A nihilistic, copaganda exercise that is somehow flat in its relentlessness. It also goes out of its way to reinforce its belief that negative stereotypes are mostly accurate, complete with a childish tirade against woke culture Rated: 0.5/5 Aug 28, 2024 Full Review Casey Chong Casey's Movie Mania A misguided cop drama lacking dramatic stakes. Skylar L If there was a way to give less than 1/16th of a star I definitely would. As a former LEO this movie wasn't even close to anything. Bouncing all over the place, makes 0 sense! The acting was horrible! I'm convinced that the filming was done with the very first iPhone. The budget for this film must've been less than $500. I had to keep watching just to see how idiotic it would actually end up being. If you're looking for a movie close to bedtime, this is the one. I would like to be compensated for my wasted time watching this. The director should DEFINITELY quit his day job. Directing, producing and writing are definitely not something he should be doing! Good grief! 🤦‍♂️ Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Sarah S The only thing worse than the sub-par acting is the amateur cinematography, and the only thing worse than that is the complete lack of a basic story arch. To sum it up…. I’ll never get that hour & a half back. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/25 Full Review Ross W I'm not sure if the Critics and I watched the same movie. I really enjoyed it...Yes, it starts off "slowly" but IMO it fit with what just might happen in a the real world as a Detective in NY. Yes there is no doubt some dramatic license going on, but I liked the interplay amongst the characters and some of the underlying drama <subplots> might be revealed in the future. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review Steven G I had to look this up because I am totally trying to figure out what I just watched. Tha acting was pretty good, locations great, but dialogue at times felt like they were just throwing things in there with really no real purpose. I actually would love to see this developed into a series. I liked the two main characters. I just felt like I was left wanting. For what I don't know. I think I am getting used to the ten hours or more that a series gives you, rather than trying to shove everything into 2 hours or less. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/25 Full Review Audience Member This is my first review, which I had to write because this movie is a hidden gem. Filmed all on location on the streets of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens which is where I grew up. Adventures of a seasoned detective and his new female partner. Great acting and interweaving stories with a very satisfying ending. Definitely could be a sequel or a series. Likable characters and great dialogue..Easy to follow story that flies by quickly. You will not look at your watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review Clarissa F Too chaotic; also, the jumping from Brooklyn to Bronx to Queens to Manhattan in the background was just too much. Don't waste your time.
