Sergio Benítez Espinof Instead of trying to build the main characters in a more solid way, the film goes from here to there and, never with enough interest in the plot. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 30, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Stephen P This is a great martial arts animated movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review stefano t Nice drawings. But the story is different from the original, they had to cut away a lot of stuff and speed it up, in order to be included in such short time length. The result is that it doesn't convey the same deep feelings you usually get from the manga or the anime. It's just...dull. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member not terrible tho i think the Japanese's translation might be off Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Ahhh yes. The classic saga from times when things were easier. Good is good, evil is evil and love is forever. Stuff unthinkable nowadays. Animation is really bad (sometimes non-existent), it's rather a set of moods and atmospheric moments created by sound, music, voice and image. The plot is simple but the post-apocalyptic world is rich and vibrant. I guess it had been copied countless times over the years (both in movies and video games). Antagonist are absolutely over the top, which balances nicely the calm character of Kenshiro. Other characters are likeable, though a bit simple and underdeveloped. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Violently awesome! Classic 80's style anime characters in a apocalyptic earth beating everyone up to death. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Over-the-top violence with blood that looks like hot sauce is a fun ride for any anime fan!
