      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

The prequel to the first full-length feature set in Bedrock, Viva Rock Vegas is a surprising improvement over The Flintstones. Aimed towards an audience of adults and children alike, critics feel Viva will appeal to a broad range of viewers.

Chris B I enjoyed how they did it. It was a bad movie that was good. Not sure if that makes sense. Still you are not here for an epic drama. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Brianna B Even though it's a different cast, I still enjoy it as much as the first, which isn't saying much. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/09/23 Full Review DJ W One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Why would they replace Rick Moranis and John Goodman? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/23 Full Review Vincent P esta es ok esta bien para mi puede dar gringe pablo es un idiota y un tonto al menos velma y betty son muy bonitas y lindas Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/19/23 Full Review Red T So it's bad....but it is a improvement and somewhat big step above the first. The pacing in this isn't good but it isn't as off the wall bizarre as the first one mainly because it isn't AS obnoxious with the jokes and over the top comedic acting but it still sucks. The cinematography is still just as atrocious as the first with the same problem of the live action ascetics don't work and look so stupid. also, the CGI here looks subpar on Dino and the dinosaurs compared to the original which confuses me. Every scene with the alien is atrocious. And there is a ton of just dumb scenes. The acting is bad. Wilma is awful and has no chemistry with Fred, the villain is forgettable, the jokes all fall flat, and no one has any chemistry. Wilma's Mom probably is more embarrassed than anything to be in this. The Alien is just so bizarrely out of place as well. The music isn't good either and doesn't match in the slightest bit with the live action. It's almost entreatingly off. The editing isn't good either. The first half is a origin story and we don't even get to see Rock Vegas until the second half. The first half has a lot of things in it setting up the origin and it feels rushed so we can get to Vegas. So yeah this is bad but an improvement. I wouldn't recommend either but if the guy holding the gun to your head is forcing you to pick one and your looking at this review (Because I can't think of any other reason why someone would read this) than watch this one I guess.
