Yasser Medina Cinefilia I find its melodrama very moving when it narrates the tragic story of love, intolerance and classism at the root of the Mexican revolution. Full review in Spanish Rated: 7/10 Feb 22, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Emilio Fernandez' films are poetry in motion. The love story of Esperanza (Dolores del Río) and Jose Luis (Pedro Armendáriz) is one of the most beautiful, honest and purest romances ever portrayed in films. The film is perfect in almost everything, except for some sound efects and minor things like that. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
