Audience Member Flower Island is one of those very quiet films that has a lot to say if you can simply peak beneath the surface. There isn't much dialogue and this allows us to really immerse ourselves in the performances. We can work out the pasts and purpose of each character from their actions coupled with those few words. Flower Island is also shot beautifully, it is realistic but also feels like an illusion. This is a film to watch by yourself, so you can experience the loneliness of the characters. This is an understated masterpiece. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
