Is it a war hero movie? A Lifetime survivor movie? A religious expose? And while it is attempting to be all of those things in one... the tones switch so abruptly, I often found myself wondering if I was watching the same movie I was five minutes ago. I thought the opening sequence was brilliant, but the rest was just... meh. Their unwavering devotion to their prophet, who takes on secret wives that maybe young as 11. Based on a true story, this movie shines light on not only the power of the sects, but also the huge amounts of money they bring in and how they wield it to secure their political agenda's.
