Jamie Ludwig Chicago Reader Like any great subculture documentary, Foosballers is at its best while opening a window into the passion, dedication, and personal stories of its subjects. Mar 5, 2020 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times For a tiny percentage of talented and dedicated enthusiasts, foosball became something much more than a biographical footnote. They are "Foosballers," and this is their story, and it's pretty cool. Rated: 3/4 Mar 5, 2020 Full Review Jared Mobarak The Film Stage It would have been easier to put together a pure biography of the sport, but you'd lose the excitement and enthusiasm these current masters all bring. Rated: B Mar 5, 2020 Full Review Lee Jutton Film Inquiry Joyous, hilarious, and uplifting... Mar 5, 2020 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Foosballers is precisely the movie you are picturing in your head upon hearing the title. Rated: 6.5/10 Mar 5, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This documentary focus on some of the best Foosballplayers in the world. They tell they're stories, show of skills and routines while they all are preparing for the World Championship. Interesting film about a small, but still big matter. It's fun and weird, serious but still playful. Not as good as "King of Kong" but up there with the Tetris documentary and a few other game docus I have seen. 6.5 out of 10 grip straps. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A rare documentary about foosball and the corresponding lifestyle and passion. Thanks goes to the moviemakers for making it in such an interesting way, perhaps even for non-foosballers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrific flick. I imagine the world outside of the quirky group that passionately love Foosball will find this movie light-hearted and funny. As someone a little closer to the group who knew their names before the film, I think it did well poking fun at the absurdity of the mix of characters that make up this world without crossing any lines. I always wondered how many professional players in other sports would stay with their game if there was no money in it. This film explores six of the "worlds greatest" at a sport so many have played, and yet (almost) no one can make a living doing, regardless of how good they are. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a wonder, funny and very entertaining documentary of the wild and crazy foosball world.
