Audience Member Considered by most to be the greatest Australian Silent Film ever made & was slated to be released in the U.S but due to the release of Jazz Singer a few weeks earlier this film had no time to soar. The story of a wrongfully accused man sent to Van Diemen's Island which was shot at Port Arthur Tasmania. Filled with not only action but wonderful performances all around. It's a tense drama that really draws you in & to be honest was as good as any US Film at the time. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
