Jagger Blaec Willamette Week The best parts of this project were clearly the ones Sorenson authentically experienced. But fictional licenses feel somewhat forced and unrelatable. Dec 18, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Joseph A This movie is a mood. Multiple moods, in fact. There's something so relatable about it. I haven't gone through everything the characters in the movie went through, but it all resonated with me, as we've all struggled with something in our lives once we've reached a certain age. That's not all that struck a chord with me, though. The humor was ON POINT- absolutely dark and delightful. It made me laugh, and really felt like a mental release at times, because some points in the movie get genuinely emotional. Lastly, I'd like to mention the scenery. It is used so well throughout the movie that it's practically a character. I live in one of the areas they filmed in, and I've seen other films that shot out here, as well, and some of them got it right, and others felt like they shot here just to shoot here. This film got it right. Nothing about it felt crowbarred and it served the story perfectly. IN OTHER WORDS...SEE THIS MOVIE, AND SEE IT OFTEN. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/18/24 Full Review Emilio E I saw this movie at a festival last year, and again now that it's got a release. It really held up. I like the opportunity to find a few laughs amidst the true awkwardness of family dynamics. The characters are well-drawn, and good use is made of the scenery traveling up the West Coast. The movie surprised me with its candor, both times I saw it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Karina W An independent gem, made with love. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, a profound exploration of a dysfunctional family dynamic and characters who, despite the odds, manage to figure it out by the end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Andrea R An enjoyable little movie. Loved the scenery. I found the characters and situations relatable, especially for those of us who have had to deal with our family members when an older relative is sick or has passed. While some parts were somber, many more were funny and silly. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/16/24 Full Review Melanie M A beautiful story. A true independent film with female leadership across the board. Well written, well acted, well shot, bravo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/16/24 Full Review Aegis C Such a good movie! I true indie and a story that REAL! It's funny and touching and hopeful all at the same time. LOVED it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
