Dolores Barclay Associated Press Givens and Hofschneider are wonderful together. There's a sweet gentleness in their interaction, and their love scenes are electric. Audience Member Simplistic plot met with a run-time that is just about right. The chemistry between Robin Givens and Marco Hoffschneider coupled with it's, dare I say, memorable soundtrack is just beyond amazing! One of the best romance dramas I've ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Frances H Tries to be Summer of '42, but too bland, even with racism thrown in. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/30/16 Full Review Audience Member A wonderful movie that was about so many things, but mainly the cross you have to bear when involved in forbidden love. Le Clerc and Givens were wonderful together. Worth seeing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member 1955 is really not long ago. Amazing that blacks were treated like that 60 years ago. Philippe is a French exchange student who is thrown into Virginia of the 1950's with all its pros and cons. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I'd really like to go see the movie. I saw the preview and thought it was very romantic and a superb movie. I love Marco Hofschneider he is gorgeous Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member "L'étudiant étranger" Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
