Allegra A @RT23153204 Jul 9 I really wanted to love Forever because Taye Diggs and Meagan Good are both incredibly talented, and they gave great performances. Unfortunately, the writing completely let them down. The movie pulls you into a beautiful love story, then throws in multiple tragic events that felt unnecessary and poorly thought out. Instead of adding emotional depth, they just made the story frustrating. The biggest disappointment was the ending. After spending so much time developing the characters, the movie suddenly jumps ahead several years without explaining what happened in between. I was left with more questions than answers. The acting was excellent, but it couldn’t save the script. I wouldn’t recommend this movie, and I finished it feeling like I’d wasted my time. A story about a army vet who meets an old acquaintance and becomes involved in her family which includes 3 girls. A story of true love one that lasts forever or until life happens. Definitely a heart wrenching movie sad but somehow sadness turns to happiness and understanding. See more Luckie T @Luckie92 Feb 9 Tear dropper. Make sure you have some Kleenex nearby. Beautiful Movie. See more AP R @APRandall Feb 8 HORRIBLE! The movie made NO SENSE from the FIRST scene. Low budget script and low budget acting. Neither actor should have take the role. HORRIBLE. See more Les D. @LesDion Feb 8 This movie had the potential to be good, pun intended. Maegan did a very good job, but Taye Diggs was horrible!!! He whispered almost ever line. I had to blast my volume just to hear him speak. To make matters worst, his acting was pathetic and his casting in the lead romantic role killed the movie. Him and Maegan kissed over 15 times in the film and the kisses were so awkward that it made the relationship between them very unrealistic. No chemistry whatsoever!! My wife and I loved Taye in The Best Man series, but I hate to say that with this film, he may have put an end to his career. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Feb 8 Tyler McMillian Presents: Forever is a surprisingly emotional film that starts off quietly and slowly builds into something much heavier than expected. At first, it feels like a simple relationship drama, but the story eventually takes a heartbreaking turn that genuinely lands. That emotional shift is easily the strongest part of the movie and the moment that stays with you the longest. Unfortunately, the film does not fully earn that impact because the early portions do not spend enough time developing the central relationship. With more buildup, the emotional payoff could have been far more powerful. After reaching its most effective moment, the movie continues in a new direction that feels unnecessary and drawn out, weakening the overall impact. The pacing becomes uneven, and the story loses some focus. While the screenplay has good ideas, it lacks consistency and depth in places. Overall, Forever is a decent streaming drama with one strong emotional core See more Read all reviews
