Tom Huddleston Time Out Ambitious it ain't, but Forget Me Not is a modest, memorable and rather moving slice of DIY cinema. Rated: 3/5 Sep 25, 2013 Full Review Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) For long periods its boy-'n'-girl-on-a-metropolitan-wander merely serves to make Richard Linklater's diptych Before Sunrise and Before Sunset look even more accomplished. Rated: 3/5 May 6, 2011 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard As well as the actors play, everything depends on the screenplay, and Mark Underwood's writing doesn't quite swing it. Rated: 2/5 May 6, 2011 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Fans of Menzies, O'Reilly, and Jones will probably want to see Forget Me Not for their work here. Lovers of London may want to see the film for its fabulous shots of the city. It just is not a movie for those seeking a plausible cinematic romance. Rated: C+ Dec 22, 2020 Full Review Joseph Walsh CineVue Forget Me Not is overly simplistic, corny and a cheap attempt to appeal to young, modern Londoners. Rated: 2/5 Aug 29, 2018 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Reminiscent of all-night encounter movies like Before Sunrise or In Search of a Midnight Kiss, this British drama has a terrific blast of honest humour and sharp music to undercut its somewhat sad tone. Rated: 3.5/5 May 5, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

richard i I really wanted to love this Before Sunrise-lite UK film with its brilliant lead actors who know doubt hoped that this would be a showcase for their talents, but they are sadly let down by a script that unwittingly turns the characters into schizophrenics, and leads them into implausible plot twists that could have been handled much better. Fans of London will be amused by the geography, particularly as the couple seem to walk about twenty five miles without thinking about taking a bus or a taxi, and then visit a 'nearby' coffee shop that takes them from Whitehall to Drury Lane in one jump cut. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Nicely acted drama with some affecting moments. Worth watching. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member There's a clear comparison to be made here between 'Before Sunrise' as this film. it includes a love affair that develops in a big city over the course of less than a day, and it's almost as wordy too. Despite the fact that it may not be original it's still a strong film due to the strength of its script - with a few worthy emotional moments too. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I really liked this movie :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Many of the reviews on here are for another film. This was a truly lovely film which I chanced upon on BBC iPlayer. It was touching and beautifully shot. Left me feeling sort of sweetly sad. And the two leads were wonderful.
