Audience Member Pretty good western could tell it was cheap made but still well worth watching James Welch Henderson, Arkansas I was 18, 2023 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/19/23 Full Review ashley h Fort Bowie is a disappointing film. It is about Captain Thompson who favors peace talks but Major Wharton advocates war with the renegade Apaches led by Chief Victorio at Fort Bowie. Ben Johnson and Kent Taylor give horrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Howard W. Koch did a terrible directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty standard, and at times offensive, cavalry western. Is only worth watching if you're a fan of Ben Johnson.
