Audience Member What a beautiful documentary that shows all of the different sides of the foster program. It wasn't over done and it didn't come across as having an agenda. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/19 Full Review Audience Member Inspiring, compelling, and vividly intimate. It is incredible how these foster children, families and social workers let the filmmakers have total access to their lives. Everyone in the USA should see this film. Kenneth Turan Los Angeles Times [A]n intimate, intensely dramatic film that holds us in its grip like a page-turning novel. Except it's all true. May 3, 2019 Full Review Eddie Strait The Daily Dot Over the course of two hours, Harris presents a wide-ranging and clear-eyed look at the potential and limits of the current foster care system. Rated: 4/5 May 9, 2019 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Foster needs a little more balance, but it's a good treatise on how people can come out the other side of the overwhelmed foster system and do well. May 8, 2019 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette It's about time for a quality drama that explores the foster care system from all angles and perhaps in so doing encourages more adults with a stable home life to consider fostering.
