Fessenden’s tripartite chamber piece Foxhole has its heart in the right place and wears its influences unabashedly on its sleeve. Go to Full Review

The thin, superficial writing... relies on blandly sentimental monologues and an assortment of patriotic war-flick clichés. Go to Full Review

The bold concept aside, Foxhole’s depiction of three American wars over a century and a half lacks a compelling escalation of intensity. Go to Full Review

mark g @Mark_Alan_G. May 1 It's theater, OK. People trying to hard to give some kind of Audie Murphy take. There were some over the top elements. However, there were a lot of moving scenes as well. This is meant to be moving entertainment, not a documentary. Lighten up, not great, but not terrible. See more avindu g 08/28/2022 Foxhole is a cleverly crafted tribute to men and women who envisioned a better world and sacrificed their selves in it's making. Foxhole's tripartite reenactments itself is an indication of an uncured illness. That resentment and desperation is skillfully acted out by the cast. Movie is not flamboyant it's bitter and confined with limitations in which a soldier wounded , cornered or both be defined. A moment when a soldier turn out to be decidingly who they are while all walls come tumbling down and end is nearing. See more 05/15/2022 Obviously none of these "Critics" have never served.
