Jasmer Incredible historical document! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/10/22 Full Review Audience Member A shot of honest history aimed straight for the heart. As a child I lived in the deep south for a few years- we were from New York. I realized that things were different. I was taught we are all equal. Everyone needs to see this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Alexandra H Engaging and enjoyable! This is the best movie of any kind (documentary or drama) that I've seen on the American Civil Rights Movement of the 1950's & 1960's. And, I've seen quite a number. I had just graduated high school in California and was following on the radio and TV the events of Mississippi Freedom Summer. I had also just completed a road trip through the South a year prior. The movie gives one a good sense of the South at that time and of the smart strategies and courage that the Civil Rights workers showed. Great, great documentary! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/22 Full Review s r Good for the history and first hand accounts of the civil rights movement in Mississippi.
