Merl Edelman Los Angeles Free Press Director Rossi tells this story with a disarming simplicity, sticking as he should to the wealth of small details which are the real events in a boy's life. Jan 24, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member "Amici Per La Pelle" is a perfectly enjoyable movie about the strong friendship between two schoolboys as they grow up. They are apparently from different backgrounds, although I didn't find the contrast enough to make their friendship seem so unlikely, which might make for more of a story. As with much 1950s-60s Italian cinema, not a lot really happens, but it's all very watchable and well-made. 7.25/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
