Loveland, Ohio. Home of the Frogman. In the summer of 1999, a 12-year-old named Dallas Kyle captured footage of the mythical creature, but no one believed it was real. Frogman knows exactly how silly and absurd it is, but never backs down on its own weirdness. A wild ride of hilarious high-strangeness, gross-out gags and kooky, loveable characters.

The filmmaking team leans into the ridiculousness of a human-sized frog, allowing the proceedings to get a bit silly. This does not detract from the horror, however. In fact, it makes everything that much scarier.

This was a very enjoyable horror film. As an Ohio native who grew up close to Loveland, I greatly enjoyed the Frogman lore and story being brought to life with some new twists and turns. My biggest critique would be that I could tell this was not filmed in Ohio, but that probably won't be obvious to the majority of watchers.

One of the WAY better found footage horror films of recent years, "FROGMAN" is bursting with creativity, has great effective scares, a pretty disturbing plot that you're guided through by some of the more likable characters of this sub-genre, and an absolutely wacked out third act to finish piecing it together. Ribbity.

I really liked this movie! It's absurd and different and doesn't try to hide what it is. It's a slow build up at first but definitely pays off with a wild finish. Support small, independent creators. And remembere, Apple takes 30%, Vudu takes 40%, and Amazon takes 50% from creators!

I don't have an inkling why this croaker of a movie is being given positive reviews. It was sheer garbage. No scares, no eeriness, no buildup, no laughs, cheesy and embarrassing acting, and scenes that are cringeworthy. Independent horror has come a long way and this junk is a waste of time and money. I have no idea about the positive reviews. Was this the same movie? Rent it and kick yourself later. Better yet get your own camera and just kick it around the floor for an hour or so. Boo...just boo.
