Leticia q It's so good and cool Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/12/23 Full Review Cyrus K I do prefer this any day over frosty returns, but although it still doesn't come as close at it should in spirit to the original. it isn't really supposed to, i love the animation, characters, music, and portrayal of jack frost in this special. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/22 Full Review christopher c. m A sweet follow up to the 1969 classic. The animation still works, the actors are all great. The simple but sweet story is great for little-little kids to enjoy. Perfect Christmas family fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a real sequel to Frosty rather than the other horrible flick with Frosty having voiced by the same guy who plays Patrick Star. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member The story of how Frosty took a wife, as narrated by Andy Griffith. A Rankin Bass Christmas classic. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Andy Griffith plays the Durante narrator role seven years later in Rankin and Bass' demented follow up which sees Frosty coming back from the North Pole and building a wife to his exact specifications, only to have a minister refuse to marry them because they aren't people, while at the same time encouraging them to build a snow minister that can then have a bible put in his hand to make the wedding official (exhale). Easy to see how the Durante classic has endured over this version and why this never was a yearly watch in my home growing up. Matthew Jackson Syfy Wire There's a lot to love about it, but it will never live up to its predecessor. Dec 4, 2018 Full Review Ryan Voyles Paste Magazine The absent-minded Frosty character is a delight, and his specials have some of the best supporting characters. Plus, it's no Frosty Returns, which is the highest possible compliment. Nov 30, 2018 Full Review Nancy Davis Kho Common Sense Media Snowman takes a wife in predictable sequel.
