Jithin K Set in Hollywood, this felt like the people involved in the making of this really hated the studio and star system of the time, and made a hyperbolic story out of it. The titular event is only the last 15 minutes of the 65-minute runtime; till that point, it felt like it was trying to be a passable romcom. Overall, a watchable but weird film that was always meant to be a small film of the time. Maybe I am a bit biased because I know the writer is Trumbo and could see some choices being his and some of those of the studio, which makes me appreciate the film to a point.
