Two years removed from a scandal that cost several lives, the Delos company has spent billions on safety updates and revamping their resort, Futureworld. Reporters Chuck Browning (Peter Fonda) and Tracy Ballard (Blythe Danner) are sent to cover the reopening, but an insider leads the pair to believe the attraction is not what it seems. Feigning interest with Delos head Dr. Duffy (Arthur Hill), they try to get to the bottom of his nefarious agenda, which involves robots and human cloning.

5.5/10 - I dozed off a bit but the second half is passable at double speed. They can shove the mystery up the plot hole of not using passwords. Amazing CGI for 1976 combined with the setting makes this a proto Terminator 2.

Pretty bad and really dated. You couldn't even recognize Peter Fonda with the black hair and big black glasses. And Blythe Danner and Arthur Hill were tased. I only watched it to see Yul Bryner, who was wasted in this old flick.

Set two years after Westworld, the lifelike robot company is back in business and ready to open up a new and improved resort and a select group of people/reporters are invited to experience it first hand. Who knows, maybe things will work out this time around. Peter Fonda and Blythe Danner star with a cameo from Yul Brynner. Fun sci-fi/conspiracy flick.

This is a very good film and does not deserve the negative feedback it has had, The story is a sequel but is really nothing like the original as the company continues to put on robot holidays etc, but invites major important people there and drugs them and replaces them, government, press etc in a bid to stop the bad things happening in the world. A reporter and a newsreader learn the truth and have to escape their replacement before they are killed. This is a really well-produced, directed thriller.
