Two years removed from a scandal that cost several lives, the Delos company has spent billions on safety updates and revamping their resort, Futureworld. Reporters Chuck Browning (Peter Fonda) and Tracy Ballard (Blythe Danner) are sent to cover the reopening, but an insider leads the pair to believe the attraction is not what it seems. Feigning interest with Delos head Dr. Duffy (Arthur Hill), they try to get to the bottom of his nefarious agenda, which involves robots and human cloning.

Futureworld (1976) is a 108-minute-long sci-fi/thriller which I watched on Google Movies in March 2026. Is Peter Fonda a good actor? In this film you get to find out that he either isn’t or he isn’t directed well. Or is it that this film is 50 years old, when sequels were phoned in… Wait… Sequels still get phoned in. Hmmm… Anyway, there is little good to say about this film; nothing bad-bad, however nothing good-good. I did like the locations. Based on a joke made by Ballard, I suspect the scenes were shot at the Los Angeles water works or a location similar. This film has beyond many flaws. The poor actor playing Clark the robot was wearing an ‘unmasked’ masked, so circuits. I don’t think he had good eye slits because, as he was pouring a coffee, he poured half of it on the table. Bad directing, bad editing. Even Stormtroopers bump their heads… Rewatch? Absolutely not. Recommend? Absolutely not. 2/10.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são mais ou menos, o elenco é mais ou menos, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é bacaninha, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e mais relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom.
