Audience Member I only came to be watching this as it was sold as a double feature with the documentary "Shinjuku boys" (which, ironically, I have still not watched, and bought the dvd to see that one!). The topic matter, female wrestlers, was really not of interest to me, (I loathe sports, especially aggressive ones!), but put it on, and was ready to turn it off within 15 minutes, only thing that stopped me was that my husband was watching it and seemed quite interested. Surprisingly, this did end up drawing me in by around the 30 minute mark, and was a good documentary about a group of tough young Japanese girls and their teacher. I still cannot fathom what draws them to it, but it was informative, and I did even find myself cheering on a few of them. (Unheard of!). The story with the very young girl I also found quite moving and sorry for her. Am looking forward to watching Shinjuku Boys soon - if I was that sucked into something I have no interest in seeing, the other one should be really good! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Puro training for the women..contains the most brutal dropkick you will ever see... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a really great documentary about an all female Japanese wrestling federation. Wrestling in Japan is a lot more technical without so much stupid soap opera, and therefor more interesting. Women wrestlers in Japan are just like the men in that they actually wrestle and them being in the ring isn't just an excuse for a bra and panties match. This movie is great with a lot of funny parts and it's touching and heartwarming and all that jazz. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
