The lead actors certainly have chemistry, while director Ronald Neame skilfully keeps the twists and turns coming, accompanied by a typically lush score from prolific composer Maurice Jarre. Go to Full Review

This agreeable caper comedy was amusingly advertised with the tagline, "Go Ahead Tell the End (It's Too Hilarious to Keep Secret) But Please Don't Tell the Beginning!" Go to Full Review

@MilloTPue 04/03/2022 Funny, elegant, with a few interesting tricks and two actors with great talent. See more 12/13/2021 Nice to see a heist movie poking fun of its premise, but the romcom twist was not needed See more steve d 07/18/2020 It's hard to root for anyone. See more 03/18/2019 Pretty good. Well made and intriguing. But it still pales in comparison to Topkapi (the best heist film ever). The twist ending is a let down. And how is it that the lattice above the elevator just happens to be removable, and the Caine character knows this ahead?
