A slick, underrated crime gem that was the last glimpse of a performer( Shakur), who was on his way to matching, if not eclipsing, his success as a musician. But it is Belushi that shines brightest in his best performance, as a desperate, menacing slimeball.

There's a good movie to made with this material. I like the idea of 2 crooked cops who commit a crime, commit more crimes to cover it up, and everything continues to snowball. The problem here is way too much happens too quickly. You barely have time to process one crime before the next one is underway. Well acted (including Jim Belushi as one of the crooked cops), but needed some fine tuning. Tupac's last film before his death.

Extremely underrated…. Amazing performances and not like any other cop movie because the main characters are horrible people but you're still rooting for them to get away with it the whole movie. R.I.P. Tupac

Now I know why I never felt compelled to watch this. The plot is thin and weak and kinda stupid - dirty cop kills an undercover DEA agent by mistake and then, with the help of his partner and stripper girlfriend, frames a homeless bum for it. The title is a bit misleading and it turns into a part courtroom drama. Thankfully, there is a little twist that occurs and is able to keep it afloat until the mostly predictable conclusion.
