Given the gradually upticking arc of his opuses' IMDb ratings to date, Woodward should finally score a 6 out of 10 sometime next year. He's got the perspiration part down; surely inspiration can't hold out much longer.

Gangster Land (2017) delivers a gritty mob story with a strong crime-film vibe. The performances and style help keep it engaging, and there are some solid moments for fans of gangster movies. While the pacing can be slow and the story isn’t especially original, it’s still an enjoyable watch if you like classic crime dramas.

Amazingly has a 4 star rating on Netflix. A few half known names doesnï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t make up for a predictable yet incoherent script full of clichï¿ 1/2 1/2 (C)s. Was half bearable but I did ask myself why I was watching it at times. Then we reached the end - what a waste of time
