Jessica Kiang Variety 09/09/2016
An aggressively unpleasant all-CG rendering of a bestselling Japanese manga that may scrape by as a supplement to the canon, but fails on every level as a standalone film. Go to Full Review

Daniel M @MazzaQuePasa Feb 25 I just couldn’t get into it. The story as too silly and goofy, it’s hard to rate this since I’m not really a manga or anime fan. I did finish it, but it didn’t grab me at all. See more Hot W. @hotboi252 Aug 14 I liked the movie I’m about to watch it again it’s really good??? See more Adam N @RT36421084 09/15/2024 I loved it, never cared for the Manga which was too lewd for me. I generally dont care about that but it was there mostly for others fetish. The CGI gatnz:0 was amazing and I have been clamoring for another since 2016. See more Chris M @RT21954632 09/14/2022 I like the animation style and the animation flows great. But like the series it leaves me with questions. Not enough questions to ruin the movie, but questions. There are also some real a-hole characters. But again, not too many to ruin the movie. I never read the Manga and only know a little from the show. But the movie is great on it's own and worth checking out, as long as you aren't a purist from the Manga. See more andrew k @RT40967692 08/27/2022 Certainly an interesting premise. See more 07/06/2022 This is such a fantastic underrated gem! I clicked on it out of curiosity and it held my attention until the last second. Coming into this not aware that this is part of a manga or an anime and knowing nothing of the source material, I really loved it as a standalone film!! It's such a thriling ride from beginning to end!! See more Read all reviews
