What to Know

Critics Consensus

Strictly for (very) little kids, A Tale of Two Kitties features skilled voice actors but a plot that holds little interest.

Namrata Joshi Outlook At 70-odd minutes it's a short film but not engrossing enough to make time fly. Rated: 2/4 Jan 17, 2019 Full Review Helen O'Hara Empire Magazine Yet another Hollywood kids' film subscribing to the offensive stereotype that Britain is peopled with aristocrats who live on vast estates and are waited on by a devoted and subservient staff. Rated: 2/5 Jul 22, 2006 Full Review Neil Smith BBC.com Not to be catty, but did we need another Garfield movie? Rated: 2/5 Jul 18, 2006 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com ...essential cinema... Rated: 3/5 Sep 20, 2021 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins On the bright side, the film is relatively short. Rated: 2/10 Nov 21, 2020 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Herald Sun (Australia) A slight improvement over the original, even if nothing much has changed. RICARDO A Worse than the first! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/24/24 Full Review Emma F Good for Garfield fans bad for everyone else Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Ciaran S Garfield 2 has to be the most embarrassing sequel ever made. The story feels like a rehash of the prince & the pauper (and also ripping off story and character elements from "The Aristocats" & "Babe"), the writing is lousy, the jokes fall flat and the characters are extremely obnoxious (I have nothing against the actors but it sounds like their not even trying with their performances), and when the film doesn't tire you with cheap humor or pop culture references it tries to include this really pointless mirror gag. Everything about this is so uncomfortable, but not almost as uncomfortable during a scene where Garfield dances with a cooked turkey. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/04/24 Full Review Derek L Tim Hill's sequel to the live action take of Garfield felt rather soulless entry that is almost as bad as its first with a rather paper-thin and boring plot that felt rather predictable and shallow characters that didn't seem to shine much. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review David C La historia no es buena no entendí nada Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/24 Full Review Satin B Yar, agree with the stereotype UK 💩🙄 but still a good cast; and that's as far as I view & rate it ⚠️🤐 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Read all reviews
