Audience Member It was cute, but kinda boring and very stereotypical. I liked that the main character(s) were pretty relatable and human, though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A sweet and fun little movie!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/02/18 Full Review Audience Member Way funnier than I thought it was going to be. I love the main actress in it. She was hilarious! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I adored this little movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A funny film about a gay man and his friend who decide to have a baby. The supporting characters are also a hoot Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Gayby was one heck of a comedy. Just the premise alone, a women wanting to have a kid with her gay best friend, is comical enough. Throw in a funny supporting cast and some hilarious scenes and you have an above average comedy. Some of the scenes were a little bland but there were plenty of laughs throughout and by the heart warming ending it made for a good movie. This one may not be on your Netflix radar but if you want a different, funny topic that a movie is based around, this one should satisfy your funny bone. Robert Abele Los Angeles Times What lifts Gayby above its sitcom trappings is its emotional generosity and easy warmth, the sense that characters are defined by -- and made funny through -- their aspirations, not their way with a one-liner. Rated: 4/5 Nov 8, 2012 Full Review Monica Castillo Paste Magazine The good in Gayby easily outweighs the awkward staging and strained gags. Rated: 6.9/10 Oct 26, 2012 Full Review Sara Stewart New York Post Harris, a talented comic actress who looks more like a real person than a Hollywood facsimile of one, makes every scene she's in shine. Rated: 3/4 Oct 12, 2012 Full Review Michael Cuby them. Full of uproarious twists... Sep 30, 2022 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International Your enjoyment of this baby-obsessed queer farce will depend largely upon your tolerance for seeing yet another group of gay urbanites incessantly sniping about it all. Oct 12, 2012 Full Review Brian Juergens AfterElton.com A fresh, breezy take on modern gay life and platonic love delivered with disarming enthusiasm and genuine wit.
