Mr. H One of my favorite movies of all time, this series is a must watch! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/22 Full Review Audience Member 아직 다 안봤는데 명작인건 맞는거같아요. 우리 아이도 좋아하네요. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent compilation but unfortunately runs half an hour too long for a movie. The slow pace in the TV series was mitigated by the episodic nature of the format but it's lost as a movie. Tomoe Mami's bit in specific lost its gravitas an hour through. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Sometimes kindness can lead to even greater tragedy. Two young girls stumble upon a creature being attacked by a girl they know. They discover their friend is a witch. They rescue the creature who offers to grant them a wish if they promise to spend the rest of their life fighting witches till their death...which could come in any battle. The girls get one day to decide and get to meet another witch hunter and travel with her. At the end of their journey, they will have to make a decision that will change their life forever. "Before you grow up, you should learn how to make the right kind of mistakes." Three directors collaborate to deliver this anime picture. The storyline for this picture is interesting and definitely worth following. The animation style and action are just okay, but the characters, their back stories, and their overall evolution is very well presented. "The annoying bitch has annoying friends, go figure." I came across this trilogy on Netflix and decided to give it a shot. I really enjoyed the concept and direction of the story and will be watching all three. This isn't perfect, as there are some corny anime features here and there, but the plot is unique and worthwhile. I recommend giving this a shot. "Being an adult can suck sometimes." Grade: B+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member After the series (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) finished, there was talk of continuing the series. with the end it had - it was either a perfect ending or a pause for another series to come through. Then we heard that they were going to do a movie trilogy. The first two parts recapping the series and the third to continue it. And I really have to say, this movie has seriously done justice to an Anime series that is one of the best I've ever seen. If I'm wrong in saying this, then I apologise, but there did seem to be the occasional scene from the TV series amidst the jaw droppingly beautiful new animation and it was a slight skewing for me when I saw it-I understand why they would do this-because this isn't really a full recap of the series, it's a retelling of it-but it still took me out of the feel every now any then. The voice talent is as it was in the series, amazing and I can find no problems yet, I only hope that the English VA's will do as good a job. While the break in the series is a perfect place to wait for 'The Eternal Story' and in all things Madoka Magica, the creators like to leave you with that bitter pill in your mouth, I would have left it a little earlier-perhaps at the introduction of Kyoko-to really build up the tension of another Dark MG in the show other than Homura. This is a great film which takes the story of Madoka Magica and lifts it for all to see. P.S: Bunnycat's a Dick.
