Audience Member One of the worst movie by Keanu Reeves so far. I have tolerated many "not-so-great" movies starred Keanu Reeves but I just can't stand this movie. So many things wrong with this movie: what is the storyline? What the director is trying to tell us? I am very disappointed with this movie and I would not recommend this movie to any Keanu Reeves fans because they might break down from disappointment like me. One star because the scene where Keanu Reeves was eating a cupcake and going to bed were cute. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Never thought I'd see a Keanu Reeves that I couldn't sit through but this one was tough to watch. Some cool cinematography but absolutely no discernible story. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was not that good, as some people are saying and me watching some of these reviews are high with that being said it was a horrible movie and some of the scenes are boring the only thing interested in this film was Adelaide Clemens she was good to see, and all of her scenes were actually pretty good and gets your attention, other than that I did not like the film.So for this being a really bad movie and seeing one of my favorite actors in a terrible film, I give " Generation Um..... " an F. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Keanu must have been really depressed at time of filming this... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This wasn't a flm. Just recordings of a bunch of jackoffs lives. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I hated the movie. Waste of time and shit... Amy Nicholson Los Angeles Times Neither the film, nor the film within the film, hold our attention. Bummer, Keanu. Rated: 1.5/5 May 3, 2013 Full Review Sara Stewart New York Post Director Mark L. Mann seems to be searching for the meaning in aimlessness, and in lowered expectations. But too often the narrative left me feeling the titular "um." Rated: 2/4 May 3, 2013 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Meandering and affected, this tedious character study is as aimless as the lives it depicts. May 2, 2013 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue While Reeves brings more depth to his character than the script warrants, the film overall lacks compelling characters and winds up depressing instead of profound. Jun 12, 2013 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International A single, plotless day in New York in the company of Keanu Reeves feels like a life sentence. May 7, 2013 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com It's a patience-tester, salvaged only a smidge by Reeves's uncanny ability to remain perfectly still while his co-stars strap on acting school rocket packs and pinball around the frame.
