Audience Member Bustling with manic energy, what the film lacks in plot it makes up for in sly allusions—featuring Lou Reed doing Dylan and Malcom McDowell making moves like Jagger—and personal affection for the rock scene, with all its excesses and excessive personalities, that this musical à (G) clef so gently parodies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A sorely under-rated movie that is full of references and in-jokes from start to finish. I've lost count of how many times I have watched this movie, and it is still great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member great music parody with great performance and great nod to the days of the Fillmore Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I have not watched this all the way through, but seriously. Ed Begley Jr, Malcolm McDowell, Paul Bartel, and Lou Reed are all in it. Plus the guy from Home Alone who did voice over for The Wonder Years. If you like camp and implausible rock oriented films, check this out. Expect some flaws. Get confused. Get Crazy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the funniest Rock and Roll films ever made. And a great soundtrack!!! Jas Keimig The Stranger (Seattle, WA) Get Crazy is worth watching simply to see this rock legend give a rather stiff performance as a hippie folk star then play an acoustic version of "Little Sister" over the closing credits. The stuff of dreams. Dec 9, 2021 Full Review Jon Niccum Lawrence Journal-World A bizarre but frequently hilarious rock parody Rated: 3/5 Jun 3, 2003 Full Review Read all reviews
