The uneven characterizations take away from the really neat twist at the end. It is in the final moments that some events from earlier start to come together. Lack of strong characters leads to a flat ending, however.

Ghost Game is a lousy, complete creative step backwards. Cut-rate, ugly, and atrociously acted, Ghost Game is one of the year’s weakest features, and a disappointing follow-up to Gevargizian’s debut.

I was excited for this to be good. I liked the idea of it being like these kids who are trying to fake a haunting get karma. Ultimately the main character were pretty unbearable, don't know if that's good acting and bad writing or bad acting, but it made the move slow. Also the twist was not great. Ok for a random movie to be a little unnerved, but not anything worth seeking out.
