Audience Member BAD...ASS. A war criminal on trial is still connected to his private satellite, and begins a wave of terror on the city. Kasuragi must stop this threat, and they meet some interesting people on the way. Easily the best of the four segments, Ghost Whisper mixes intrigue, action, and drama for a very compelling episode. The tech portion of the story is a tad overwhelming, but the setting and atmosphere are intriguing in their own right.

The animation is visually amusing as expected and the action pops up at opportune times.

Maaya Sakamoto fronts a cast that delivers voices to match their respective characters. No complaints here.

Ghost in the Shell Arise - Border 2: Ghost Whisper is a prime example of a science fiction crime thriller animation.
Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
