Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Veers wildly from lighthearted memories and analysis to teary memories of the gravely injured and the dead. Mertens's heart is in the right place, but his storytelling instincts are shellacked with slime. Rated: D+ Jul 21, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Film thesis: "Some people REALLY love Ghostbusters!" Okay...so what? Vapid and unfocused, it's a well-meaning fan-doc that sadly couldn't be more pointless. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Would be more interesting for people who weren't familiar with the Ghostbusters fandom, but since I am, it was pretty boring. I also found the main guy that they followed to be not endearing, and kind of a loser (please don't hate me, he's probably a very nice guy). There was also a scene where his nose was obviously dripping, and he wiped a big runny booger with his hand while talking to his daughter. Gross. The interviews with the original cast were nice, too bad they didn't get Bill Murray, although he is notoriously hard to find. Watched on Netflix at home, October 30, 2016. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member great flick! made me realize i'm a ghosthead! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite sweet even if only uber-dweebs and saddos like Ghostbusters. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member It was nice to see the actual ghostbusters car and the old movies of ghost busters but besides that It's just like a documentary which am not that intrested in. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Fans of the Ghostbusters franchise let their freak flags fly in the quirky, lighthearted documentary Ghostheads. Various fan club members, cosplayers, and prop makers discuss their love of the Ghostbusters franchise, along with how the films have touched their lives and the community outreach that they do. Additionally, a number of cast and crew from the films discuss their encounters with fans and what Ghostbusters means to them. The documentary also follows several fan events, including a fan's pilgrimage to the Ghostbuster's firehouse in Manhattan, a Toronto ComiCom featuring Ernie Hudson, and an exclusive trailer screening for the 2016 reboot. While it doesn't get too in-depth, Ghostheads is an interesting look at a niche fandom that has brought people together and enriched their lives.
