Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News In this season of giving, here is an indie horror drama that powerfully expresses the economic vulnerability facing many couples grappling with their own demons — both real and perceived. Rated: 3/4 Nov 30, 2023 Full Review Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting Miller’s confident direction ensures a handsomely shot debut, though one that devastates. Nov 2, 2023 Full Review Olga Artemyeva ScreenAnarchy Ghosts of the Void does deliver a powerful resolution: while playing with various genre conventions and twisting them, this horror thriller confirms a longstanding suspicion: the scariest parts are always the ones that come straight from reality. Nov 6, 2023 Full Review Patrick McDonald HollywoodChicago.com Both symbolic & bump-in-the-night edgy, taking on mental health, financial distress & what "stable" means in America. Director/writer Miller is one to watch, within a horror evolution that is about waking up to another ugly American day. w/interview. Rated: 4.5/5 Nov 3, 2023 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) The pace is slow and deliberate and while it can take too long to get to the action, the buildup and engagement from the extensive development is rewarded by a harrowing and uneasy conclusion using conflicting imagery and distressing violence. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 1, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It’s smart, surprisingly crafty, and thoroughly enthralling entertainment that’s as frightening as it is thought-provoking. Charles P A sincerely BAD film. Poorly structured with elements lifted rom dozens of other flicks (usually better) that came before it, if this one haunts my dreams it will be to taunt me with how much time I lost while watching it. Don't waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/11/24 Full Review Alexander T The first homeless invasion movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Katie F Don't fall for the positive critic reviews on this one; it's painfully slow to get going, then I guessed the ending half way through the movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review John S I thought what Mr.Miller did with the struggles of marriage was very good, but the antagonists' motive and everything just kinda felt like a gimmick or a cool idea with masks to make a horror film. I truly think it would have been better by just seeing the antagonists' normal faces as thugs. The execution and believability wasn't too bad, and honestly was a decent debut film by Mr.Miller. Not great, but decent. Mildly fun, but mostly forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/16/23 Full Review Eric M. I I actually don't know what I'm talking about. It's an indie film that deserves praise! Congrats on it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review Angie F Thoughtfully acted, directed, and shot. Every set up has a payoff. Manages to be multiple kinds of scary. Can't wait to watch again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
