Though the comedy's not all that sparkling and the cast generally uninspired, pic is pretty to look at. Go to Full Review

It's a summer love story without heat and a coming-of-age story that never matures. Go to Full Review

09/07/2018 I am not sure why the critic's reviews are so bad. To be honest, this is a hilarious, sweet, and light romantic comedy. If you don't like anything gory, dramatic, deadly, or voilent, this is a must see. The witty dialogues are brilliant. The movie depicted a silly, horny and talkative teeanger girl and a judgey anutie. Their characters are so relatable. The teenager was just how I was as a girl. Plus the songs, dances, everything 80's cracked me up every 5 minutes. The constant montage actually worked! Just a brilliant movie about a teenager girl's inner landscape See more 09/13/2015 total fluff romantic comedy and I LOVE IT See more 05/04/2009 Bad movie!!! Annoying girl and horrible story. Interesting movie, I enjoyed it but it didnt make my hot list. See more 05/17/2004 Yet another coming of age movie, this time based on the Greek island of Ios. 14 year-old teen Megghy skips out on her girl scout troop to crash at her aunt's house. Megghy then plays a trick on her aunt (played by the sexy Stefania Montorsi, whose name in the movie is also Stefania) to get her to take her to Ios. What starts off as a run-of-the-mill coming of age movie then takes a few turns as Stefania has to come to terms with her Monica Bing-like neuroses, her "old" age (she's 30 on Greece's version of South Padre Island) and her own lack of a love life. I won't reveal the main plot twist here, but I will say that this is a fine movie - if you're into fun & sun sex comedies. In Italian; Subtitled. See more Read all reviews
