Mark J Much more than meets the eye going on here, but a lot for the eye too. For starters, the stunning feminist anti-hero, Liza, is brilliantly played by South African Christia Visser in her debut performance. The cinematography of South Africa's spectacular Cedarberg mountain region is is sumptuous. And the musical score is local, fresh and original. No surprise that the Youtube version (edited for SNL) has racked up 6 million hits in a year, double the closest of the hundred-odd other films from its distributor.
