Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Extremely hit or miss... There's undeniable anger and passion on display -- understandably so -- but it's also extremely inconsistent. Jul 21, 2023 Full Review Kat Hughes THN Vitally important, Give Me an A is a battle-cry for action. An engaging , confronting, and entertaining anthology that exemplifies the modern female experience in all its nightmarish glory. Rated: 3/5 Oct 7, 2023 Full Review Erick Estrada Cinegarage A bouquet of stories that do what Barbie couldn't do; Give Me an A gives depth to themes that concern contemporary feminism such as corporal autonomy. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 16, 2023 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Give Me An A is a vital piece of filmmaking. Rated: 4/5 Jun 30, 2023 Full Review Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness Though the tones don’t always mesh and the ideas of the films in total don’t always coalesce clearly, there’s no denying the prophetic nature of executive producer Natasha Halevi’s project. ... will audiences heed the warning or will it all come true? Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 8, 2023 Full Review Molly Henery The Blogging Banshee Give Me An A is both a battle cry and a warning of the future that works through complex emotions in the wake of the overturning of Roe v Wade. rp h A vital, hilarious and terrifying response to the overturning of Rowe v. Wade. A horror anthology directed by a collective of women brought together by the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Rowe v. Wade, this film is as important as it is timely. An essential film that just so happens to be entertaining as well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/01/23 Full Review A F Although I fundamentally agree with with the filmmakers, they either don't understand or choose to be ignorant of Roe V Wade. It's a mess of multiple stories, some better than others. However, 95% of them seem to made with emotional anger, upset about something that isn't logically or lawfully happening. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Place T Ohhh okay. I'm gonna have to take a minute to process all that! I saw that they made this film in 10 days a month after Roe v Wade was overturned which is, just, wow. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review lorenxa E This movie made me laugh, cry and shake. And it made me think and dig deep into my ideas about women's health rights. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/30/23 Full Review Andrew C Really smartly done. Almost all of the vignettes are winners and some are excellent. Highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review lisa k Timely, thought-provoking, and a must-see for everyone. Each story is relevant and impactful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
