For The Love of Cinema Great gem for fans of the band. Equally fun for people looking for a queer romance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Noah This is such a wonderful story. The actors are fantastic, the music is terrific. I love the new takes on the iconic Indigo Girls songs. I cant recommend this film enough. Go see it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review E J We loved this quirky romance with a soundtrack that lifts it so high. So glad it will be able to become a hit online. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review andyiswonderful We left after about 25 minutes, which is rare for us. The characters were annoying. No empathy was established for the two leads, so we didn't care what happened to them. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Teresa B Let yourself get sucked into this universe about two very honest characters grappling with things we know too well, like fear of failure, insecurity and how much to let people in. Their sincerity is crisp amidst a colorful, musical, sometimes surreal world of dancers and musicians in gorgeous costumes. There are layers of special effects that you should not try to compare with Hollywood CGI. This is a movie made from the heart that will warm your heart and make you feel less alone. And if you are an Indigo Girls fan, boy are you in for a treat!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/21/24 Full Review Joseph E As a queer person myself, I guess I have to respect that this movie managed to get made? But to be honest, it was an effort not to leave the theater early. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sheila O'Malley RogerEbert.com The architecture of the film is so rickety there's nothing to hold onto. Just sit back and ride the waves of the music. Rated: 2/4 Mar 9, 2024 Full Review Robyn Bahr Hollywood Reporter These two hours feel long because you never once doubt that things will coalesce in the end. Mar 8, 2024 Full Review Courtney Howard Variety It’s hard to walk away without thinking that another script pass might have made this musical journey closer to fine. Mar 7, 2024 Full Review Hope Madden The Screening Room Podcast While it’s not entirely unappealing, it is a bit underwhelming. Rated: 3/5 Apr 5, 2024 Full Review Gregg Shapiro Bay Area Reporter "Glitter & Doom" attempts to take the jukebox movie musical to new heights. Unfortunately, it just keeps getting in its own way. Rated: C Mar 18, 2024 Full Review Monique Jones Common Sense Media Glitter & Doom will likely feel especially meaningful for queer viewers in terms of having a romantic film that caters to them specifically.
