      Audience Member Really dated but also still hits home. Addicted to speed for the weight loss is still going strong. Opioids now took over. I am not much younger than Alice as I was 8 when this movie came out and I never heard a dealer called a "pusher." The end is oh come on your daughter o.d. and all you say is Alice died last semester of high school one of 5,000 teens to do so.'' Have a little heart mom!!! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review hayley b i feel like this film teaches an important story, to some its just a "crap film" but please listen to what this tells some people, especially as a true story, this is someones real story brought to life by film. I had to read the book in highschool and it has always stayed with me. as for the film i thought the production and direction was pretty good, it's worth a watch.
