brad p 02/21/2023 Despite wanting more from the story, the film, with its wonderful imagery, soundtrack, and strong performances, provides a landscape of loneliness. He created scenes that adds nothing to the story (whatever the heck that was supposed to be). The only thing it did add was something for Alex to admire himself in. Perhaps he spanks his monkey while watching himself wander over the same scenes time and time again. "Oh look at me in this scene" he says to himself. "Don't I look so damned good and actorly (?) in this scene...and in this scene...in all these scenes!" And as he looks around the darkened projector room for agreement, he realises he's the only one in there! "Doesn't the reverb guitar add to my 'ordinary guy but a damned cool one' appearance?" Silence. "Can someone hand me a tissue. I've gluped!" See more 02/02/2021 DO NOT waste your time or money on this film. It is an abject failure. It commits the ultimate sin: boredom. The writing is slow and predictable. Scenes last too long and just repeat the same message over and over: this character is lonely and probably insane.
