Landon J It's really weird to see Chow depicted in this role. A likeable movie, but feels like a wasted potential. I thought the gang had so much swag after they started getting rich haha. Worth a watch I suppose, has some decent moments. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/25 Full Review Leprechaun K The OG that started it all. This paved the way for countless more gambling themed movies to come out of HK. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review william d I don't understand why this movie is rated so highly or why it spawned so many sequels, other than a decent ending. RT lists the genre as "action," but I think "comedy" is more appropriate. The trouble is, the humor is very lame. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Chow Yun Fats iconic turn. Limited only by the tech of its time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/05/19 Full Review Audience Member Somewhat campy or an Asian rip-off of Rain Man but I love it still! Chow Yun-Fat's swag is undeniable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Truly wonderful! With an original plot and incredible plot-twists, God of Gamblers is one of the best movie I've ever watched!!
