      Kyle M The rise and fall of drive-ins may be basically grasped, this dives deep into affectively adjacent history with eye-opening connections including periodical social commentaries, stirring up nostalgia and sympathetic reminiscent over the cherished venues’ portrait as advocative tribute. The film is excited and fired up about its subject but it's also a little over-caffeinated. There's some very interesting tidbits, like how the drive-in theater lobby fought against Daylight Savings time because of the way it would hurt their business in the Sixties, but that was just one more nail in their coffin on the way to becoming Walmart parking lots. The film is a true celebration and chronicles the fact that even in the 21st century some new drive-ins have opened.
