Post independence, Tapan Das, the manager of the Indian hockey team, faces several obstacles as he prepares his team for the upcoming Olympics in the hope of winning a gold medal for the hockey . It is very old type movie.

What a let-down, the movie had potential, but the stupid script, direction and over the top acting ruined it all. The plot revolves around the first gold medal won by the Independent India hockey team, the movie does its best in trying to veer away from reality whenever it can. I believe the only thing which they stayed true to was, India did undergo partition and we did win the gold but the journey to it as shown in the movie was all hogwash.
