See more 12/13/2021 This as a box office sensation making Winnie Lightner a worldwide star featuring two songs that became 20th century standards, "Tiptoe Through the Tulips," and "Painting the Clouds with Sunshine." For the time, it was considered very good entertainment on screen. The color process was lauded as were the songs. The story itself was generally amusing even if not particularly substantial.
