Alissa Simon Variety The challenge of starting life anew in an unfamiliar country receives a poignant spin in this well-acted Israeli dramedy. Nov 3, 2021 Full Review Nell Minow RogerEbert.com Charming and wryly bittersweet. Rated: 3/4 Oct 15, 2021 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times This evocative tale is worth experiencing for Belkin's lovely, lived-in turn as a woman of a certain age trying to find her place in a world not of her making. Oct 7, 2021 Full Review Pablo De Vita La Nación (Argentina) ... It allows us to remember that countries don't necessarily resemble or share the decisions of their leaders. Geremia B Great Film, great performances, lovely characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/14/22 Full Review dave d An Israeli dramedy film about married voiceover artists who are displaced from Russia to Israel where they try to make a life. It is very slow, but if you stick with it, there are moments that are quite funny. The relationship journey between the two leads is fantastic, as is their chemistry. There are a couple tangents that don't particularly work, but when the film is focused on the bumpy road of marriage, it's best. Final Score: 6.6/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Although the beginning was so slow I almost left the theatre, the second half is riveting. An original, memorable, and well-done movie that is quite worth the ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review len s Nice amusing story and very good acting. It held my interest and I would recommend it to anyone that appreciates a lighthearted comedy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
