Audience Member Hokey Italian sword-and-sandal film is good for a few laughs. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Legendary strongman Goliath, upon his return from fighting monsters, sees his hometown in the hands of a tyrant king who has sentenced his brother to death. This film is a perfect example of the spaghetti peplum, sword and sandal epics that were quite weak under all aspects, with a thin storyline and no relevance to history whatsoever. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought I had seen everything with Broderick Crawford! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Except for some very cheap monsters, a pleasant example of sword and sandals made in Italy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Any movie with a climactic fight scene against a large puppet is worth watching. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a visually appealing (although the sets and monster suits are pretty obvious) sword and sandals film--worth seeing, just to know where the aesthetic Star Trek was trying for in the late 60s came from. Oh, and somethingweird.com has a restored digital transfer DVD of it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
